Introduction

Welcome to ImpactPaws. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ImpactPaws platform, including our website, mobile app, and all associated services. By accessing or using ImpactPaws, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

Account Registration

To use certain features of ImpactPaws, you must create an account. By registering, you agree to:

• •Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information
• •Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
• •Be responsible for all activity under your account
• •Accept that certain roles (Handler, Trainer, Organization Admin) require admin approval before you can access those features

You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Dog Profiles

Users with Handler or Trainer roles may create dog profiles to showcase service dogs and their impact. When creating a dog profile, you agree that:

• •The information you provide is accurate and truthful
• •You own or have permission to use any photos or content you upload
• •Dog profiles may require admin or organization approval before being published publicly
• •You may not use profiles for misleading or harmful purposes

Community Feedback

ImpactPaws allows community members to share feedback about their encounters with service dogs. When submitting feedback, you agree to:

• •Provide truthful, respectful feedback
• •Not submit content that is harassing, defamatory, false, or harmful
• •Understand that feedback may be moderated or flagged for review
• •Consent to public display of your feedback (if you select that option)
• •Can remain anonymous by not providing your name

Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you submit to ImpactPaws (dog profiles, feedback, stories, photos, etc.). However, by submitting content to the Platform, you grant ImpactPaws:

• •A non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and use your content on the Platform
• •The right to include your content in aggregated statistics and reports
• •The right to display approved feedback publicly on dog profiles

You can delete your content, but we may retain aggregated or anonymized versions for historical records and statistics.

Organization Participation

Users who represent service dog organizations must:

• •Have authorization to represent the organization on the Platform
• •Not misrepresent the organization or its programs
• •Comply with ImpactPaws policies regarding dog profile management and moderation

Organization admins may be held responsible for content and conduct of their members.

QR Code Usage

Service dog business cards and QR codes may be generated through ImpactPaws. You may use these codes to promote your dog's profile and gather feedback. You agree not to use QR codes for misleading, deceptive, or harmful purposes. ImpactPaws tracks QR scans to provide analytics and usage data.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ImpactPaws for:

• •Submitting false, misleading, or deceptive content
• •Harassing, threatening, or defaming individuals or organizations
• •Attempting unauthorized access to accounts or systems
• •Interfering with or disrupting the operation of the Platform
• •Violating any applicable laws or regulations
• •Spamming or using the Platform for unsolicited commercial purposes

Moderation

ImpactPaws reserves the right to:

• •Review and moderate dog profiles before publication
• •Approve or reject community feedback
• •Remove, hide, or flag content that violates these Terms
• •Suspend or terminate accounts that violate our policies

We aim to be fair and transparent in moderation decisions.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• •ImpactPaws is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• •We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation
• •ImpactPaws is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from your use of the Platform

Changes to the Platform

ImpactPaws may modify, suspend, or discontinue features or services at any time. We will attempt to provide notice of significant changes, but are not obligated to do so. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updates.

Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the version number and "Last Updated" date. For significant changes, we may require you to explicitly accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the Platform.

Your continued use of ImpactPaws after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms of Service.
